The primary objective of this paper is to describe how the CPATT Test Track is used to advance Canadian pavement engineering practices through the investigation of the impact of axle loads and environment on flexible and rigid pavement structures. It also discusses how the Track is used as an educational tool for both undergraduate and graduate students. Since construction, over 1,000 undergraduate and graduates have not only visited the Test Track, but have used the data from the Test Track for course assignments and other research. It has been a valuable and strategic asset for both research and education.en
