Abstract
Glass jar from an LD50 Demo Kit that contains red dyed vegetable oil to represent a liquid formulated pesticide. This jar visually represents an oral LD50 of 5000mg/kg for a 160 lb adult, which would have a signal word of Caution. These LD50 toxicity levels are categorized as Slightly Toxic and Hazard Class III.
