dc.description.abstract | A generalized mathematical model for describing the whole-cell-hollow-fiber reactor and the annular bed reactor is presented. The annular reactor model consists of a mixed-type problem for which a novel numerical procedure is developed. The procedure is demonstrated for a number of examples, and it is proved that the model and solution technique are well suited for the simulation of annular reactors. | en |
