| dc.description.abstract | This report describes a software development process assessment performed at a small organization which is part of the Department of Defense. The assessment follows the guidelines of the Software Engineering Institute's Capability Maturity Model. The procedure used for the assessment is described in detail in this report. Results obtained from each step in the assessment are illustrated and analyzed. The report concludes with a set of recommendations for improving the organization's software development process. | en |
