The Virginia Tech Board of Visitors approved a new Master of Natural Resources degree, a program that is unduplicated in the Commonwealth. The College of Natural Resources' programs in Forestry, Wood Science and Forest Products, and Fisheries and Wildlife Sciences are each ranked among the top-three in the nation. There is also a demand in student interest and from related agencies for professionals with skills in the management of natural resources for sustainability in an increasingly complex environment.en
