This document examines the production of hops in Virginia in 2014. It notes that until recently crop production in the state was relatively insignificant. However, the increase of craft breweries has led to increased production of hops, and in fact there was a rapid increase in the number of growers starting in 2012. This document also summarizes the responses to a survey sent to growers of hops.en
