Abstract
California Governor Gavin Newsom signed Fair Food Delivery Act, which prevents third-party delivery companies from delivering food without their consent starting in 2021. While delivery applications put their efforts to list new restaurants on their apps to be competitive, this tries to protect the non-listing restaurants to get harmed from unexpected delivery accidents during the delivery that would hurt the restaurant's reputation.
