Modern seafood processing establishments must comply with the high standards of sanitation and pest control expected by the public and strictly enforced by regulatory agencies. The consumer expects pure, wholesome seafood products that are prepared, processed, stored, and served in a sanitary and pest-free environment. Failure of seafood processing plants to meet proper sanitation and pest control standards and other food and health regulations may incur costly regulatory action, unwanted publicity, and loss of revenue.en
