Abstract
Denver International Airport in contracts works for the 7th planned runway. The airport has space for up to 12 runways total. A 7th runway may be years away from completion as 2028 looks like a likely time frame. The 7th runway would tie DIA with Dallas Fort Worth airport, in second place behind the 8 runways at Chicago O'Hare Airport in Chicago.
