dc.description.abstract | “Envisioning Virginia Tech – Beyond Boundaries” sets out to advance the university as a global land-grant and address the shifting landscape of higher education (Sands, 2015). This white paper sets out to explore the upper-echelon of higher-education programs operating in a global context and the ways that they have transitioned from international into global experiences. A secondary aim is to glean ideas about how Virginia Tech can globalize while maintaining its land-grant, public focus (e.g. access, engagement)...
