Abstract

This study compared earthworm populations of a dryland wheat-fallow rotation after 25 years of zero tillage or conventional tillage. Significantly more earthworms were found in the zero tillage treatments, leading the authors to conclude that long-term tillage practices have a significant effect on earthworm populations.
