Abstract
MMGY Global's The Black Traveler: Insights, Opportunities & Priorities report indicate representation in advertising and safety are major concerns for English speaking black travelers, especially those from the United States. Travel companies and advertisers should be aware of these findings as black travelers in the United States spent over $109 billion dollars in domestic travel in 2019. Hospitality companies across the board should commit to addressing these concerns of the black traveler to ensure they receive the same level of service and hospitality as other races and that their safety concern is addressed.
