dc.description.abstract | On Sunday, Sept. 26, an incident occurred in Squires Student Center between noon and 2 p.m. The door of the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP) student office was defaced with racial slurs and inappropriate messages. Anyone with information related to this incident is encouraged to contact the Virginia Tech Police at 231-8122 or 231-8121. This was not a simple act of vandalism, but rather a hate crime and will be investigated as such. | en |
