Abstract
This article analyzes the Maloti-Drakensberg Transfrontier Conservation and Development program with respect to the management and conservation of the South African grasslands. The Maloti-Drakensberg bioregion is the highest part of the southern African grassland biome, shared by Lesotho and South Africa. The goal of this program is to find natural resource and conservation management solutions by incorporating biodiversity conservation and socioeconomic growth techniques.
