Abstract
One way to achieve both conservation and production in streamside zones is to choose tree and shrub species that provide useful and/or salable products. If riparian forest buffers are managed with food- and floral producing trees and shrubs, they can serve multiple purposes, such as generating revenue while also providing conservation benefits.
