Abstract
This presentation summarizes the findings of the SANREM CRSP research project "Practices and strategies for vulnerable agro-ecosystems", with specific regard to the impact of climate change. Research highlights focus on the importance of developing multiple types of capital to make farmers and farming systems more resilient in the face of climate change. The presentation also discusses the significance of pest and disease forecasting technologies in assisting producers.
