dc.description.abstractGraduate and professional degree students hold a sizable amount of outstanding student debt, and these students on average borrow more than three times as much as undergraduate students. Research doctoral students borrow less than professional degree students and black graduate students accrue higher levels of debt than others pursuing similar degrees.en
