Montgomery County Public Schools: Blacksburg High School: Facility Assessment

Following the collapse of the gymnasium at Blacksburg High School on February 20, 2010, Montgomery County Public Schools requested that Engineers from OWPR, Inc. conduct an assessment of the remaining Blacksburg High Shcool Building. A proposal from OWPR, Inc including a detailed scope of work was submitted to, and subsequently approved by, Montgomery County Public Schools... The results of [a subsequent] analysis may require additional remediation efforts, therefore, determination of a possible date of re-occupancy of the building cannot be made until after July 1, 2010.
