Abstract
Stresses the importance of improving economic-environmental coordination especially the strengthening of environmental analyses in country economic documents and vice versa. Shows how the implementation of such an approach would be facilitated by constructing an Action Impact Matrix (AIM), which helps develop an integrated view--by articulating economic policies and projects, and meshing them with priority environmental and social impacts.
