Although surveys indicate that of those large travel agencies surveyed, those with over $100 million in sales, 57% stated that they have diversity and inclusion programs in place, and an additional 8% stated they were working on creating such a program. Among agency staff, as opposed to independent contractors, 37% indicate their employer has a program in place addressing diversity, and 36% said their employer did not. The survey also suggests that there is a great divide between those who believe that the industry is diverse and inclusive and those who feel it is less diverse than it should be.en
