Transforming post-secondary agricultural education and training by design: Solutions for Sub-Saharan Africa
Abstract
In order to meet the Millennium Development Goals, Africa needs to enhance its human resource and institutional capacities to effectively manage the continent's agricultural sector. Some of the findings in this report are that most post-secondary agricultural education and training (PSAET) are ineffective because policies are lacking or not being enforced. Also, post-secondary agricultural education and training are largely neglected in terms of donor attention.
