dc.description.abstractThis is a 2004 guide divided in three parts to explore the potential contribution of extension workers to help on the fight against HIV/AIDS pandemic. The first part focuses on understanding the disease- the basics, the risks, vulnerabilities to the impacts, HIV and the community. Part 2- Responses of extension works based on community dialogue to identify impacts of HIV in the community, and reflection on the findings. Part 3- Is a reflection on the opportunities that extension workers have to address HIV/AIDS through agriculture and natural resources. The guide ends with some tools, tables, and examples of templates to help extension workers in the process.en
