dc.description.abstractThe African Conservation Tillage Network (ACT) is a voluntary non-profit organization of various stakeholders in Africa dedicated to sustainable use of resources, sharing technologies, and Conservation Agriculture (CA). In this newsletter, produced by ACT, several topics related to CA in Africa are discussed. These include CA's role in alleviating food insecurity in Africa, the transfer of CA technologies to African farmers, ACT's recent training workshops and other news, impacts of CA on farmer income in Tanzania, village banks and CA, Australia's position on food security and CA, and basic tenants in CA practices.en
