Tenure relations in three agropastoral villages: A framework for analyzing natural resource use and environmental change in the arrondissement of Boboye, Niger
Abstract
Field studies were carried out in the arrondissement of Boboye, Niger, from October through December 1992, to provide specific policy recommendations pertaining to the country's land tenure and natural resource management. Fieldwork focused on the interdependent yet competitive relationship between agriculture and livestock management in agropastoral communities.
