Abstract
An explanation of the various capitals and their relationship with a healthy ecosystem, social equity and vital economy. It also explains the importance of the research process in achieving negotiation capabilities and the better use of natural resources within communities. A conceptual framework for coalition building shows it as a tool of support that allows the easily identification of the actors involved in the decision making process. The latter is recognized for improving capabilities of producers to make alliances.
