This article discusses the factors influencing the feasibility of organic farming under conservation tillage. Many limitations and obstacles exist and must be taken into consideration, including weed pressure, nitrogen availability, and soil compaction. The authors propose an incremented approach to conservation tillage adoption, beginning with an assessment of the suitability of the soil type and structure and the climate, followed by careful choice of an effective crop rotation, and finally, determining suitable tillage approaches for the particular soil and crop.en
