Abstract

Two significant problems face different sectors of the commercial fisheries industry. First, the scarcity of dependable, affordable supplies of high quality protein meals for fish feeds is a problem for fish-fanners. Second, the daily mass of wastes from seafood processing creates a disposal problem at seafood plants along the coast.
