The U.S. CDC had issued a new ruling that would allow cruise lines to again begin their cruises with ports in the United States provided that the cruise companies can prove at least 95% of passengers and 98% of the crew have been vaccinated. This would allow the cruise lines to avoid the "simulated" test voyages which were being considered to prove to the CDC that their mitigation process was safe to return to scheduled cruises.en
