dc.description.abstract	This paper describes a graduate course entitled "Protection in Computing" given at Virginia Tech. The course emphasizes selected computer Science and research aspects of protection. Following a general course description, the various topics and reading references are detailed. A chronological course outline indicates the sequence of coverage and shows the correlation of reading references to the topical areas. The use of oral presentations is described.	en
