Abstract
This presentation reviews the Gender Cross Cutting Research Activity of SANREM CRSP from a self-assessment perspective. SWOT stands for strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats. Strengths for this project include international collaboration, interdisciplinary focus, multiple methods, and graduate education. Weaknesses include language and cultural barriers, and insufficient time or funds. Opportunties are commitments from host-country institutions, multidisciplinary teams, and gendered perspectives of agricultural changes.
