Abstract
The survey used the Participatory Approach involving farmers, farmer groups, community leaders and market actors. It covered three villages in Nanggung Sub-district area, namely Kp. Nyuncung-Malasari, Cisarua and Parakan Muncang. Particularly, three farmer groups (Cepak Nangka, Lestari and Sekarsari) representing the three villages respectively, were included in the survey. The marketing information of vegetables in the Nanggung Sub-district was summarized. Problems faces by farmers and market agents were discussed and they are: geographical and climate factors, availability of transportation, agronomic problems, credit access and sources of market information. Lastly, opportunities for Nanggung farmers were also discussed.
