Abstract

This paper is concerned with the problem of suppressing the far-field acoustic pressure radiating from a structure interacting with fluid. In particular, it develops a modem control theory for the optimal control of the vibration of a submerged structure in a way that the far-field acoustic radiation pressure is minimized.
