Abstract
In a single institution study of 435 parents, the researcher found that parents 'knowleage of the Clery Act and their use of the information contained in the federally mandated report to be low. Parent responses to crime awareness strategies and administrators who shared this information with them varied by educational attainment, experience with crime in the immediate family, and experience with children in college.
