dc.description.abstractThis chapter will present a discussion around contemporary teaching and learning research in science education that holds promise for informing similar educational research on classroom practices in technology education. More specifically, the goal of this chapter is to highlight select genre of science education research that are compatible with, and parallel to, areas of needed research on the teaching/learning practices in technology education. The intent here will be to dwell only on select efforts in science education research regarding the teaching and learning process (pedagogical practices), and in so doing seriously encourage new perspectives on investigations into the educational practices of technology education.en
