Struggles for Control: The Interface Between Farmers and Herders
Abstract
The institutional arrangements for granting access rights to natural resources for both farmers and herders in the Bamenda Grassfields of Cameroon are documented. The state's attempt to impose a single land tenure system is questioned. The conceptual underpinnings of land registration are also examined. (CAB Abstracts)
