Wyndham has converted 52 hotels and signed 112 development contracts this past quarter. Although the United States markets are far from a complete recovery, Wyndham has reported increased occupancies in Florida, Arizona, and Utah. There is still work to be done on the international side as the international market is where President & CEO, Geoff Ballotti, noted Wyndham took the biggest hit to their overall portfolio overseas.
- Wyndham’s Outlook Improves After Better-Than-Expected Third Quarter in USMcCune, Robert (CoStar, 2021-10-28)Wyndham Hotels & Resorts reported a revenue per available room increase over both the first and second quarters of 2021. Their performance outpaced projections and surpassed their 2019 RevPAR totals at U.S. properties. Wyndham also announced in early October the launch of upper-midscale, all-inclusive brand Alltra.
