Online ordering and delivery jumped from 20% to 39% of total franchisee sales during the COVID-19 pandemic, according to TD Bank

Abstract

According to survey data from TD Bank’s Restaurant Franchise Finance Group, restaurant franchisees tend to depend on more delivery and mobile ordering capabilities after the pandemic. Regarding the payment method as well, 42% of franchisees answered that they switched to nontraditional payment methods, and 28% of franchisees stated that they started to take digital payments. There were cutting menus and operation hours as well.
