    Abstract
    The purpose of this study was two-fold: First, the authors evaluate the soil quality of a ten-year no-till corn trial with no residues, residues, or double residues, assessing numerous indicators of physical, chemical, and biological characteristics. Second, they use the indicators to develop an index of soil quality based on four functions of soil:
