    Abstract
The second annual Conference on Higher Education Pedagogy focused on higher education teaching excellence and the scholarship of teaching and learning. The conference provided a forum for faculty members and graduate students to showcase their instructional research and model their pedagogical practice with the goals of demonstrating the quality of educational research and practice that is being conducted on campuses; providing a mechanism for faculty members to network with other like-minded faculty regarding pedagogy; and expanding faculty members’ understanding of and motivation for learner-centered teaching.
