Art exhibit created by University Libraries employees on their biennial Service Day. This is a day when all 180+ employees of the libraries come together to participate in team-building activities and attend workshops or lectures for professional development. The art piece was created on this day, with nearly everyone who works at the University Libraries taking a few minutes to sort through the pile of donated fabric that was gathered and woven into a piece for this shared project. All the fabric scraps were donated by library employees and if you look closely you’ll find old ties, scrap ribbon, and trimmings from quilts and blankets. 2018/05/14
