The Windsor Castle Park Foundation, in collaboration with Windsor Castle Park and the Town of Smithfield, have been working on the Windsor Castle Park Longleaf Pine Restoration Initiative and identified the need for a conceptual site master plan for a demonstration area on a portion of Windsor Castle Park. The goal is to showcase several methods of planting small acreages of longleaf pines for the purpose of encouraging interested landholders to follow suit.
