Zoom has unexpectedly changed the course of the entire Events Industry. Offset by the COVID-19 pandemic, meeting professionals have pivoted to the Zoom platform. Researchers have linked the introduction of virtual conventions via Zoom with the introduction of Spotify to the Music Industry in the early 2000s.
