Abstract

This article introduces the pros and cons of using robots in the restaurant business based on previous researches. It is inevitable to implement automation in the quick-service restaurant since people want efficiency and think robots will improve food consistency, quality control, and cost control. However, in terms of fine-dining, people are not in favor of robots because they expect 'human touch' in their food and services. Also, the article discusses that robot will replace human labor in the end from several perspectives
