dc.description.abstractExperimenters need robots that are easier to control for experimental purposes. In this paper, we conducted interviews for eliciting interaction requirements for human-robot interaction scenarios. User input was then incorporated into an Android application for remotely controlling an Aldebaran Nao robot for use in Wizard-of-Oz experiments and demos. The app was used in a usability study to compare it with an existing Nao remote control app. Results were positive, highlighting the ease-of-use and organization of the app. Future work includes a more complete usability trial evaluating the unique functionality of the app, as well as a case study of the app in a real Wizard-of-Oz experiment.en
