CEOs hope for a strong 2021 as crisis continues

Ceos from Acccor, Best Wester, Hyatt, Hilton, IHG, and Marriott stressed to "control the controllable" during NYU's virtual hotel summit. According to STR the industry should improve 45% in 2021 compared to 2020 levels and the CEOs were hopeful regarding a possible vaccine. However, they noted that improvements regarding contact tracing will need to be stabilized to move the industry back to pre-pandemic numbers and also stressed the need of collaboration between countries and governments.
