20,000 Fewer: The Wagner-Rogers Bill & The Jewish Refugee Crisis

Abstract

The exhibit is a partnership between the University Libraries and Katherine Pierce, M.A. candidate in History. This exhibit is a representation of Katherine’s master’s thesis on the Wagner-Rogers bill which denied entry to Jewish refugees to the United States in 1939. The exhibit was up from April 1st - May 12th, located near the elevators of the 2nd floor of Newman Library.
