2023 Show and Sale 101 Series

Highland 4-H and FFA Overall Livestock Committee along with Highland-Bath Farm Bureau, Kent Show Feed and additional sponsors helped coordinate a 3 part series of educational sessions for livestock exhibitors for the 2023 show program. Sessions included lessons on animal selection, nutrition, finance and recordkeeping. Youth who attended all sessions were eligible to attend the sheep and goat show at Rockingham County fair for free. Fifteen youth and parents participated in the three session program with eight of the youth attendees qualifying for the free livestock show trip.
