As short term rental demand slumps, destination markets prove bright spot

Short term rentals have found themselves in a tough spot, along with the hotel industry, as demand over the winter months in regional areas has evaporated. Destination markets such as ski resorts and warmer locations have done much better than traditionally popular winter destinations. Additionally, the lack of rental inventory in destination areas has also been increasing the rental prices for available properties.
