dc.description.abstract | Presentation to teachers at Kiptopeke Elementary School during their summer in-service training. Presented the programs that 4-H and other agencies/members of the Eastern Shore Environmental Educators Council could provide. Teachers were taken through two activities. The first was Edible Soil, a hands on activity that demonstrates the soil layers by making a desert. They also took part in using the Farm in a Box kit, to identify human, natural and capital resources and heard about the other uses for the kit. 30 adults were in attendance. | en |
