A year into the pandemic, hotels continue to grapple with looming bankruptcies as lenders grow impatient. Many companies also struggle with vaccine requirements as they start to come availed for their associates and as a variety of states recognize hoteliers in the highest vaccine category. The American Hotel & Lodging Association continues to lobby Congress on relief for the hotel industry and has recently partnered with Unite Here to join forces in crafting industry specific relief legislation.
